My classrooms are characterized by discussions, discovery and energy. I like to lead classes where students are active participants in the process,
rather than rote learners. I encourage questions and foster an environment that is comfortable for students to practice what they learn and not to fear failure.
It is my opinion that critical thinking skills and application of information in real world contexts are far more useful to learners than textbook dissemination of information.
I design all my courses around the student's needs to make it as relevant to them personally as possible.
